DiscoCollabs

Data Retention & Deletion

Last updated: September 9, 2026

The short version

Your store’s data belongs to you. We keep it while you use DiscoCollabs, we never hold it hostage, and we delete it on a fixed clock when you leave.

While the app is installed

Everything DiscoCollabs collects for your store — your creator roster, submitted content, attribution history — is retained and keeps accruing, even if your subscription lapses. A lapsed subscription gates access to features, never your rights: you can export your content (one-click ZIP) and request deletion at any time, paid or not.

If you uninstall

  • Shopify sends us a shop/redact signal after uninstall. We honor it: your shop’s database records are deleted first, then stored media, with automatic retry if any step fails.
  • Independent of that signal, all data for an uninstalled shop is automatically purged no later than 90 days after uninstall. No indefinite retention, no “win-back” exception.

Individual requests

  • Customer deletion (customers/redact): when you or Shopify instruct us to remove a specific customer’s data, we do.
  • Data access (customers/data_request): we provide what we hold so you can answer your customer.
  • Creators consented to hear from your brand at signup (“we’ll email you reminders about this collab — nothing else”). A creator can stop emails or request deletion at any time via the brand or cayla@quorra.agency.

What we never do

  • We never email your customers’ order addresses — reminder emails go only to the address a creator gave us themselves, with consent, zero exceptions.
  • We never sell personal data or use it for advertising.
  • We never block a legally required export or deletion — even for unpaid accounts.
